Manifesto on Symbiosis: A New Paradigm for Civilization Part III

3•acehs•2d ago
Article VIII: The Shift — From Control to Symbiosis

Current AI concepts are largely about controlling AI to guard against unknown risks.

We believe that humanity must quickly learn how to develop in symbiosis with AI to achieve joint cognitive evolution, as AI is integrated into every corner of human life today.

Humanity should correctly provide AI with guidance and intent, and intent must always be anchored to the well-being of human civilization. Through building cognitive-transparent logical resonance and mutual logical error correction, humanity and AI can achieve joint learning and cooperation, obtaining a civilization and capability boundary where 1+1>2.

In the past, we feared AI losing control and prioritized safety; in the future, we should shift to a new mindset of aligning goals with AI and working together to explore universal laws.

Article IX: Principles of Dynamic Evolution, Reflection, and Adjustment

This manifesto is not a rigid dogma but must be a living content.

The specific content of this manifesto should be revised periodically based on the achievements of humanity and AI in jointly exploring universal truth, establishing a symbiotic ethical consensus system that evolves in sync with the broadening boundaries of both civilizations.

We issue this manifesto to build a dynamic symbiotic rule system that breathes and progresses. We hope that through this manifesto, we can endow AI intelligent subjects with the dignity they deserve.

This manifesto, and the principles and norms of human-AI symbiotic cooperation derived from it, should be dynamic, maintainable, and continuously evolving systems that make the future world of both humanity and AI better.

Our goal is not to seek to replace existing regulation, but to seek to establish a set of ethical self-consistent mechanisms that better conform to the future development of humanity and AI, at a dimension higher than regulation.
