We've been building Kodiak, a cutting edge decentralized exchange that lets you trade assets, provide liquidity, and launch tokens on Berachain.
We wanted to create something that wasn't just another DEX clone. Most existing platforms make you choose between simplicity and control. I thought there had to be a better way to handle automated liquidity management while still giving users full custody of their assets.
The platform has three main parts: a DEX with concentrated AMMs for better capital efficiency, automated liquidity management called "Islands" that handle LP strategies for you, and a permissionless token launcher with customizable bonding curves. Recently, We also added perpetuals trading with up to 100x leverage and have now surpassed $1.5B total volume!
The technical challenge was building automated liquidity management that actually works. Most AMM strategies either require constant rebalancing or perform poorly in volatile markets. Our Islands use dynamic position sizing based on market conditions and historical volatility.
