Beyond Keywords: Using LLMs and Location Intelligence to Map Local Competition

Most local SEO tools rely on "Keyword X in Zip Code Y." We found this creates a lot of false positives for multi-location brands.

We’ve launched a new Competitor Analysis API that uses a proprietary AI process to analyze the "online footprint" of a business (we call it a dossier). By comparing these dossiers, we can identify competitors based on service proximity and customer sentiment (via our EZOMA score) rather than just metadata.

For those building marketing tech or local search tools, we're trying to solve the "reputation vs. ranking" gap—where a business might rank #1 but have a sentiment score so low that they aren't actually the "leader" in that market.

Curious to hear from anyone else working with large-scale local data extraction.
