Show HN: We benchmarked 3 AI video detection APIs on 190 videos

I benchmarked 3 detection APIs on 190 balanced videos (95 fake + 95 real) across 11 AI generators + real TikTok/Instagram fakes.

The gap on social media fakes:

  Leading competitor: 22%

  Image-based API: 67%

  DeFake: 100%
Why this matters: Insurance claimants don't submit 4K ProRes footage. They upload through mobile apps — same compression as TikTok. If your detection API fails on TikTok fakes, it fails on claims footage.

Scan your own video: https://game.defakes.com/defake-game?utm_source=hackernews&u...

Or browse the feed and vote before the AI reveals its answer: https://game.defakes.com/feed?utm_source=hackernews&utm_medi...

More about DeFake: https://www.defakes.com?utm_source=hackernews&utm_medium=soc...
