I’ve been thinking about how much information we have access to today, and how hard it still is to keep track of what actually matters. Most of the time, if you care about something specific, you end up checking multiple sources over and over again.
I built Synapse to explore a simpler idea: instead of monitoring everything manually, you define the signals you care about, and the system listens for them continuously.
For example:
notify me when news that could impact my portfolio is released
notify me when a competitor launches a new feature
notify me when tickets for a major event go on sale
It’s still very early — I’m mainly trying to understand what people would actually want to track and how they’re doing it today.

I am reminded of the 2001 movie "Antitrust" in which a fictitious company NURV creates a fictitious product, Synapse, a worldwide media distribution network.
