Podman is great, but writing Kubernetes YAML by hand every time you want to run a container stack is a barrier that shouldn't exist. The goal of this project is to make Podman stacks as accessible as possible, for beginners and experienced users alike.
The *Podman Kube Generator* lets you configure pods visually and get production-ready Kubernetes YAML that works directly with `podman play kube`. No account needed.
*Features:*
- Multi-container pod configuration with a simple UI
- Docker Hub image search with tag selection
- Supports rootless and rootful deployments
- Generates systemd Quadlet integration files
- Configurable resource limits, security contexts, and liveness probes
- Container connection assistant, auto-populates environment variables when linking containers
- Save and share configurations via link
- Podman Shell-Script Generator as an alternative output format
- Step-by-step deployment guide from generated YAML to running pod
After generating, the tool walks you through the actual deployment: `podman play kube`, systemd Quadlet setup, and everything in between.

## Ready-made Stack Templates
Instead of starting from scratch you can pick one of the pre-configured stacks and customize it:
Nextcloud, Immich, Jellyfin, Home Assistant, Vaultwarden, Gitea, Authentik, Keycloak, Grafana + Prometheus, Zabbix, n8n, Paperless-ngx, Mattermost, AdGuard Home, Pi-hole, Headscale, WireGuard Easy, Nginx Proxy Manager, Uptime Kuma, Miniflux, Navidrome, PhotoPrism, BookStack, Semaphore, Stirling PDF, and many more.
You can also build and share your own stacks with the community, registered users can submit custom stacks that show up in the public stack list after approval.
