Ask HN: Building a deterministic AI substrate on legacy hardware

1•theantagonistai•1h ago
I have been working on this in isolation for the last 7+ years. I have reached the absolute limit of what I can do as a solo architect without "production plumbing." I am at a survival wall and am looking for a bridge and technical partners to move this from a research PoC to a production-grade engine. I am developing a deterministic alternative to the current probabilistic "Token Economy."

The Asset: A zero-inference, symbolic AI substrate. It is not an LLM wrapper. It is a linguistic coordinate system that acts as software without code generation, predefined templates, or schemas.

The Proof: I have 4 videos showing a primitive order management system (roles, CRUD, dynamic rules) built entirely from ~195 Simple Single Sentences . It runs on a 2010 AMD Phenom. To stress-test the logic, I ran an audit through Grok, which verified the architecture at 9.7/10 for logical soundness.

Current status: Research is complete; hardening and feature development for a production-grade product are pending.

The Verification (Live Demo): I do not have a hosted demo because I lack the "production plumbing" more required for public traffic as well as some feature gaps that needs to be implemented before a hosted demo . However, I am ready to jump on a live screen-share with any serious peer to verify that the functionality shown in the videos is real. I am not offering a "feature-on-demand" demo—just a live execution of the existing PoC to prove the substrate is functional .

Roadmap:

Live hosted demo: in 12-16 weeks.

Alpha: A software builder that renders logic from natural language (no code generation/no predefined domain models--no class or schema defs/no back-end/front-end APIs). 10-12 months away.

Fluency: Cognitive bots based on grammar + experience + psychology.

Physical AI: A substrate designed for local execution (robotics/edge) rather than massive GPU clusters.

The Ask: I am seeking a Survival Bridge (via SAFE note) to move this from my desktop to a production-grade infrastructure. I am also looking for co-founders with C/C++/Java/Golang backgrounds who have deep experience in building transactions, scalability, and persistence layers. I'm not looking for advice. I'm looking for the pragmatists who want to help an Architect bridge this gap.

To save the community some time: This is not an LLM/GPT wrapper. It is a deterministic, symbolic substrate. I’ve reached the 'Survival Wall' as a solo architect. Research is complete; I’m looking for the systems peers (C++/Go/Java) to help build the production-grade plumbing this engine now needs.
