Correctly guessed this guy based on the title alone. He was once developing a really fascinating portal demake for n64, but nintendo got the project cancelled.
It was rough at firsr, but in a way it feels like that freed him into doing his own things now, being more creative and original. This open world game engine for n64 probably would not have happened otherwise.
