Ask HN: Gumroad suspended my account, blocked my payout, and stopped responding

5•ClipNoteBook•1h ago
Gumroad suspended my account and said it was a compliance issue, not fraud, but gave me no real explanation.

Since then, they limited my access to parts of the dashboard, my payout date kept changing, and the money that was already there is still stuck. I contacted support many times and got no response.

At this point, it honestly feels like my money is being withheld without transparency, and I do not know what I should do next.

Has anyone here dealt with this before? What is the best next step to push for a real answer or recover the balance before the account is fully closed?

What was the compliance issue did you register with a VPN that doesn't reflect where you originally based, or you verified with a different identity
