Litha, Pronounced: : /ˈlɪðə/, Litha 2022, 2023, 2024 (now associated with Lakpura LLC) began as a project by two high school students, Neksha DeSilva (age 13), who created the concept, designs, development, and Thisal Nethnidu (age 14), who created a Google Play app mirror in Java in 2022. The 2023 version became the foundation for the versions that followed, beginning from 18 total page views in 2022, with major/minor improvements over time. The project drew strong attention inside the school community and the ICT society, and later reached over 240,000 total page visits, and became the #8 Google Play Store app in the "Lifestyle" category for a brief period during the Avrudu week in 2024.
