I've twirled my hair my whole life. After years of failed attempts to stop, I built TicTicBoom. It uses your camera to detect face and hand tics like nail biting, hair twirling, and playing with facial hair, then locks your screen so you can pause and reset.

First hour I used it, it caught me 25 times. I had no idea it was happening that often. I've already noticed I've been doing it less and hope others can benefit as well.
