Let’s not forget that Iran’s regime is still evil. They are authoritarian and theocratic. And Islam is neither friendly towards outsiders like those who follow other religions nor the women and other minorities within its rule.

I don’t think Trump had a plan and that he should have acted with allies. But overthrowing the regime is definitely justified. And achieving that does require applying pressure by attacking infrastructure. That’s just the price.

But on the other side of it is an Iran that could be more peaceful and friendly with the world, but also kinder to its own citizens.
