Tell HN: I will pay money for a YouTube front end that stops the "Rec Roulette"

Front page recommendations that don't change until I give the go-ahead (by explicitly clicking a "refresh" button, and not a moment before, even across sessions). Per-video recommendations that don't change at all (or, at least, not for a set, calendar period). How it used to be. How it should be. How it needs to be for YouTube to be a service that doesn't prey on its own users.

Please, for the love of god. I'm tired of seeing an interesting thumbnail out of the corner of my eye right as I'm clicking on another, and not ever being able to find the first again.
