I buy 2 almanacs every year: The Old Farmer's Almanac that everyone knows, and Harrowsmith's 100% Canadian Almanac, and I pit them against each other.
They are equally unreliable, and only rarely agree, but it's a fun passive hobby to revisit throughout the year. They don't really need their algorithms with how inaccurate they are. They can just keep updating what they say on their websites to rewrite history / pretend they got it right yet again.
