ChatGPT's export data feature doesn't work for me. When you click on your profile name in the bottom left of the UI > Data Controls > Export data > Confirm Export, it is mentioned that your data will be sent via a link to your email in 24 hours but I have waited more than 30 days and still haven't received my data. There are multiple accounts of this on Reddit too. [1]

I live in Canada and I believe this is illegal here [2], and likewise for many other parts of the world too.
