Been on a DS920+ for years, mostly docker + synology photos. Hardware is the bottleneck now. Photos indexing is painful, container count keeps growing. Considering a custom Unraid build. Specs would be way better. But I'd be giving up how little I have to think about the Synology. For people who switched, did the flexibility actually pay off, or did you end up debugging your NAS more than using it?
