Claude Code is unable to respond to this request

4•sminchev•1h ago
I hit a restriction, while using Claude Code today: API Error: Claude Code is unable to respond to this request, which appears to violate our Usage Policy (https://www.anthropic.com/legal/aup). Please double press esc to edit your last message or start a new session for Claude Code to assist with a different task. If you are seeing this refusal repeatedly, try running /model claude-sonnet-4-20250514 to switch models.

Well, this is something new in Opus 4.7, or at least I see it for a first time now. No such security gates seen before.

I am asking it to process am email, provided as eml file, but the email contains my address, and my sisters'. And this is treated as personal sensitive data, that it does not want to process. If I just copy and provide the mail content, without the real email addresses, it works fine :D

Have you seen something like this, or anything similar?
