I'm not sure how much this resonates with others. But I have a bad habit where I use Claude Code, then immediately tab out to doomscroll Youtube shorts, completely unaware of when Claude Code is hanging waiting for my next input.

I made a config with hammerspoon that makes the border of my screen glow orange when claude code is waiting for my input. It clears when I take the next action in the terminal.
It's not rocket science, but wanted to pass it along just in case anyone might find it useful!
I'd also be curious if anyone has found any other unique solutions to this. I know some people have created hardware devices to be notified. I just hate mac notifications, so I didn't want to use those.

I screencap with quicktime, export, use ezgif.com to optimize and then push to gh.
