An explainer of the invisible temporal logic shaping platform behavior

This is a governance-layer explainer of three temporal primitives that shape how platforms behave over time: Cycle Hit, History Score, and Rotation Groups.

It is not technical or implementation-level. It focuses on long-term dynamics that researchers and regulators have largely overlooked for 23 years.

The goal is to provide a neutral, conceptual model that helps people reason about platform behavior without requiring access to internal data or algorithms.
