they were called flashmobs, and were innocuous.

its the call for collective action disruptive nature thats problematic.

its the response as well.

what is described as a riot, screwing up a malls business day, is not normal.

however, just how rowdy does a snowball "fight" in a park become to justify police response.

social media amplifies and extends these gatherings, the potential for enormous gatherings exists.
