My first post in here. Some thoughts on AI (the big LLM chatbot kind) from a physics phd student whose job is learning how to be a researcher. How should all of us learn and challenge ourselves in the face of a thing that seems ready and willing to do all the thinking and understanding for us? I don't pretend to have the answers, but maybe someone will find this useful in their thinking.
