I travel with my laptop and work remotely, and if it brake my work will be stopped for few days, and I'll have to find new macbook pro quickly, probably fly somewhere to get better deal..

I've been looking for small linux device that can be used for coding with external screen or TV (it's ok if slow), initially I thought I can do it with my android phone, but they can't run ruby, postgres, nodejs, vs code (or similar) in a same way as on desktop. Apple run macos on A18 chip on macbook neo but not on iphone or ipad (I honestly don't know why), Steam deck and alike are too big, I didn't find good linux simulator on android/iphone either

Do you know any linux compact device or tablet?
