Whats is typical VR offer for these types of companies?

The first 2 companies I ever worked for offered voluntary retirement to exiting employees and pretty much everyone took it. Both times, my entire department was wiped out, except for me and maybe one or two others. I wasn’t eligible either time, but ended up getting paid for almost no work. Worked out at the onsite gym and read books all day. People just assumed that those left behind were super important or essential. Good times.

This feels pretty significant
