Another founder (Andrey) and I both attended the cafe once earlier this week — him on Tuesday, me on Thursday.
We both signed up again on partiful for Friday and both got approved.
Today (Friday), he walked in and stayed to onboard more customers (from his own tweet).
I showed up, and I was turned away at the door by a16z staff, told I "already attended once this week."
Same event. Same rules. Same approval. He's white. I'm Asian.
Has anyone else experienced something like this?
