Hi HN family! I've recently been messing around with open models through ollama (glm-5.1 and kimi-k2.6), and I've been impressed with just how close they are to Claude Sonnet for my needs, especially programming. The one thing I miss though is the chat interface. I love having the Claude website and app to bounce questions off of and help me with my math homework. I've looked around a bit at existing FOSS chat apps, but none have really stood out to me. So, I wanted to see what people have found that works. I'd be willing to pay a (reasonable) subscription fee to maintain the storage and hosting costs too.
