I’ve always liked the concept of taking niche knowledge and turning it into a game loop people instantly understand. GeoGuessr is the obvious inspiration, but I wanted to apply that format to firearms.

There’s a daily challenge, leaderboards, ranked head to head and category-based play. I recently added a cursed guns mode too.

Would love feedback on the gameplay loop and progression mechanics. Looking to improve.

This is a 1916 Swedish Mauser open sight at at 1155yards: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpkpVX4QYzU

If you're headed somewhere it might include forums (problematic) or at least submission of (or finding of) good examples of particular guns in use.

As a huge GeoGuessr fan, I love this implementation. I spent some time in the classic mode and the game engine looks solid and the flow is smooth, but I am curious about your long-term plans for the game.

I checked the Firearms Database for the project and saw it has 773 items. It’s a solid start, but I think a dedicated player will be able to learn those quite quickly. To scale this, I think there is a natural transition toward a broader military/defense topic. This would appeal to both the military audience and shooter fans. Expanding into general military technology would allow you to include an incredibly large amount of "guessing instances" and keep the content fresh

It’s just a suggestion on how to potentially scale, but I’m curious what your roadmap looks like, because this is a very promising idea

Good luck with further development!
