LOL, field research, you could say

For me, this sounds totally unrealistic.

Now granted, my ability to pump out 8 pages of content is directly related to how well I know the subject, but I can create content just as well in my sixth decade as I could in my late twenties. Planning, research, strategizing, composition, storytelling… it’s all still (mostly) there.

And part of that skill is engaging in lots of short-form debates, where you need to have maximum impact with minimal content. It teaches you to ruthlessly prune your content to the absolute essentials, but also to rigorously compose said content until it eliminates almost all alternate interpretations such that the meaning you want is imparted upon the most possible readers.

Now granted, I also have an exceedingly dim view of AI, and generally don’t touch that wildly hallucinating herd of cats. So maybe that’s where OP’s issue has crept in… his writing skills have atrophied due to disuse. Classic outcome of AI overuse. And it’s a difficult position to claw your way back from.
