This article is a magnificent example of emotion versus reality. If the author cares maybe he should start by acknowledging palestinian terror.
My counter article would be titled "the West's bubble of illusion about the nature of radical islam and about itself is being burst"

I'm sorry but your comment flies in the face of all historical facts and truth. You can't deny the Nakba, The Balfour Declaration, 75 years of Zionist terror and ethnic cleansing... There's no putting the toothpaste back in the tube, the world found out the truth about Israel.

People have been saying that for decades, but Israel only gets stronger, and its neighbors only get weaker, or implode altogether.

Israel is weaker than it's ever been before. It's a pariah state (new development) and it's support from the US will end with Trump.

Tell me something I haven’t heard before. People have been boycotting Israel for years - has that achieved anything meaningful? Have Palestinian lives improved in any way, at all? Will a weaker Israel translate to better lives for people in Gaza or Hebron? The answer is obviously no. They need a rich neighbor if they have any hope of creating a state.

Israel will not exist without US support and US support for Israel will not exist once the baby boomers are gone. Things have changed over the past 3 years, the younger generations view Israel as our enemy. We're entering the Zionist end-game and they are severely outnumbered.
