When you flip off the world, you should expect the world to flip you back.

So, when someone proposes a cause and effect relationship between two things - reduction in pirates causing global warming; Obama creating the global economic crisis; young people ruining American business - ask for the data that shows they're related, rather than simply that they're happening at the same time.
Canny as PBS is, though, they've framed the story with that headline as an excuse to explain how a weekend dollar impacts their case studies and convey useful information, restore sanity and/or fear. I mean, it's not Pure B.S. They didn't really allege causation. But they are able to make the opposition and/or allies pay attention and click through and read the thing. Mmm, fresh cookies!

the value of the _US_ has weakened significantly in the eyes of the rest of the world due to the great orange muppet - if y'all don't like it, get rid of the useless skinflap.
