sympathetic or doubtful? the data is from Ashby btw. anecdotally, the bar is quite high now. i saw a chart the other day that showed DE roles having grown - whereas DA/DS had slightly declined.

So the humiliation ritual have reached levels never seen before.

Just the cost of those 25 hours and the setup prove most companies are highly inefficients.

I see 2 main problems:

- Nobody trust anybody, you get a lot of candidates who are frauds and potentially threats to your organisation.

- The entire HR and middle management scam, which have no value and pretend to add some to keep their job and stay in charge.

The sad part is the worst candidates are the one who will go through this humiliation and then become toxic elements.
