everybody is trying to fit in, and those who don't want to are labelled as: haters, [...]-ists, [...]-phobic, without taste, etc. Non-conformists have always been looked down upon. It became so much easier to ostracize and shame them now across all of the social media platforms.. Eco-chambers became ego-chambers

The problem is that people end up on the same 5 platforms (Netflix, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook) which then leads to people consuming much of the same things.
