The Two X's Problem: Why AI-designed brands feel like AI-designed brands

While building designs for CodeYam.com, I've been reflecting on how to use AI to create brands and design systems in ways that still feel unique and personal. I still didn't quite figure it out yet, but the experimentation has me reflecting on my early design days at school where there were similar (but different) challenges.

I found this exploration super interesting, especially the points around when it's okay for design to feel "generic" (when speed matters above all else) versus when design needs to feel "good" (squishy word, but in this case more thoughtful, unique, and deliberate).
