Over the last 90 days the status page (https://www.githubstatus.com/) shows around 2 nines of uptime for most services.

Another outage at GitHub with actions and pages not working thanks to the AI agents Copilot and Tay.ai creating more issues.

This time it was caused by friendly fire by the automatic suspension of the GitHub Actions bot which is now a "Ghost" user.

Quite the surprise of events with this issue and we now end up waiting for GitHub to resolve the issue as there is no CEO of GitHub to contact.

You might need to push a critical change soon, but now you cannot. You won't get any of these issues if you self hosted...

It's amazing and very simple to run/setup. It's been really stable for me for years now, and takes basically no maintenance.

Apparently they deleted the Github Actions account as it shows up as ghost in PR comments.
