I use Claude Code daily and keep rebuilding the same agent setups — same MCP
servers, same skills, same prompts, every project.
I'm considering packaging 5 specialists (developer, architect, marketer,
analyst, strategist), each preconfigured with its own MCP servers and skills,
sold as a one-time purchase instead of yet another subscription.
Before I build the checkout and actually ship it, I want a reality check:
- Do you prefer rolling your own agent configs, or would a prebuilt,
drop-in one save you real time?
- Does "pay once, own forever" actually appeal, or do you not mind
subscriptions?
- What would make this worth paying for vs. just doing it yourself in
10 minutes?
I'm not one to buy these types of things so I don't want to sound like a good data point. But from the outside, I do worry that the current rate of change with LLMs might mean there could be hesitation around buying agents. Will buyers hesitate if they don't know if the next sonnet version means the agent no longer works at all or work in surprising or bad ways? I'm not sure its a real concern, but its my first thought.
