Anyone who thinks power = price on cloud envs has not done their homework, at all. Pricing tiers change based on location, type of machines, type of workload they expect you to do on it, whether that's going to tie into a loss leader, etc

Thinking that a machine with 8x cores is going to help with a mostly async network task is also not credible.
