I created an open-src, PC gaming accesibility select to speak screen reader tool

2•DarkLightCodes•1h ago
I am a 22y old solo accesibility dev.. I wanted to play pc games such ss life is strange but couldn't as i was on linux and there were no open source tools that would let me hear the penguin speak.

So, i decided to create my own tool that is a select to speak GPU Accelerated screen reader overlay that can read literally anything in your pc.. Including text on video, games etc and it is much more faster and precise and gamer friendly than conventional tool even on windows.

If you feel this tool can benefit you aswell i request the community to share their honest feedback after trying it. Honest criticisms and feedbacks are most welconme.

Github link: https://github.com/PoeticKiler/HockEye For Demo video please browse demo section in README. md f. ile

And finally.. If you think this project is somethinh good pleade consider leaving a star on github:))

Cheers
