Claude and me vibed some spiral-y fun that could even hypnotize you (not really, but maybe. I'm a not a licensed Mesmerist, but it seems a prudent disclaimer in case viewing this spawns an army of hypnotized nerd-lawyers).
I was mer-smer-ized by Numberphile's Red and Black Knights video a few weeks ago [link below] and thought it'd be fun to have a toy web-thing to play around with stuff like that, so I paid my buddy Claude to viberize one.
It starts with an amazing twirl of 2 Knights dancing around each other like drunk boxers, just like in the Red & Black Knights video, even though the colors are a drab blue and orange!
But then you can invite other pieces to join in the insane frenzy of fun! Wazir, ferz, dabbaba, alfil, and others can recreate the set ups in the Numberphile2 video.
BUT WAIT THERE"S MORE! Create compound pieces (wat!? iknowrite!) for even more LSD inspired eye-heroin (drugs not included).
And now here's a dense block of AI Slop describing what's happening supposedly:
"A deterministic, turn-interleaved greedy graph-coloring of the Ulam square-spiral, where each chromatic class is an independent set under the union of per-color leaper-attack adjacencies — every tick each color claims its minimum-index vertex unattacked by any foreign class (intra-class attacks permitted, and that broken symmetry is the whole ballgame) — solved cell-by-cell and rasterized one palette-mapped pixel per vertex into an offscreen ImageData buffer that's single-drawImage-blitted per frame, so the emergent quasi-crystalline macrostructure falls out of purely local constraint propagation with zero global objective."
