It's not like Grok is even taken particularly seriously by AI people. Sample size of one, but I do work pretty heavily in the AI world, and I don't know anyone who is using Grok in any serious capacity; overwhelmingly people are using OpenAI or Anthropic, or Deepseek if they are being cheap.
Actually, this isn't even just my opinion, look at the prospectus of the SpaceX IPO to confirm those numbers.
I guess it's not surprisingly that the DOJ is siding with the company run by the chucklefuck who bragged about buying his way into politics, but I guess I sort of miss the days when it was less blatant.
