"I won't be leading The Washington Post day-to-day. I am happily living in 'the other Washington' where I have a day job that I love. Besides that, The Post already has an excellent leadership team that knows much more about the news business than I do..."

Bezos betrayed reader and staff trust rather spectacularly then seems surprised at a huge subscriber drop. It wasn’t a bad investment Jeff, you destroyed its greatest asset

Paid 250M. Bezos net worth was 25-27B in 2013, now 224B-266B.

As a mouthpiece of Jeff's interest in maintaining his wealth and power, the WaPo paid for itself the year he bought it. It is mind blowing that that the rich don't hire better handlers.

The rich really need their own version of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWEpW6KOZDs
