Need guidance on Go-To-Market strategy

3•brainstorm23•2h ago
Bootstrapped an AI Governance solution that focuses on bringing AI compliance transparency to organizations across multiple Business Units. It shows clear compliance and risk posture allowing executives and external auditors to review evidences. Various types of reports can be easily generated. It has vendor assessment capabilities. The solution is live in production and is built on serverless technology with low operating cost and easy scalability. It has MFA and WAF for security. Don't have funds to implement GTM plans.

Should I sell the software or look for partner. Please suggest how to navigate from here.

It's blocked in Australia as far as I can tell so I'm only going off your post.

This feels like something that Vanta, Drata, or Iru may just patch into their existing platforms that already have mass market adoption. Maybe if you get some traction a company like that would be willing to buy it, but most people using a GRC are pretty entrenched and likely won't want to add another platform like this.

I think an open-source self-hosted angle with optional paid cloud plans is becoming more common these days. Might work here

Thanks for your guidance. Just opened it for Australia. Please try again.

Website doesn't work.

Anyway, the conventional answer would be that you need an investor at this point -- an angel, even. If that won't work, you probably ought to do outreach and look for partners.

I don't think that selling it right now is a viable strategy, or an optimal one. You'd be better off whipping up a website and forcing a bootstrapped GTM.

Thanks for your guidance. I just hope it open for USA and Canada to reduce abuse.
