So the power chain goes like this : Sun Rays —> Electric Power (solar pannels) —> Electromagnetic Waves (a specific RF circuit and TX Antenna) —> Electric Power again back to earth (TX Antenna) Straight up Star Wars tech, they have 84 lines of R&D. Got me wondering, is this even physically possible ? What may be their expected power efficiency ? And is there even an ROI in terms of funding ? Would this have any kind of applications in transmitting power from satellite to satellite (for instance to power data centers?)
