PKD’s transient visitors (for these are usually network collectives) were obviously benevolent. Many at this time were of family lines. I imagine these communities have been rising and falling since the beginning of civilization. Many cultures speak of them as demons or “entities.” They are in fact cultures of humans who exist right along side of us. Not all as miraculous as one might imagine. An old shut in, someone imprisoned and condemned for life, A hand full of weirdos who overcame their schizoaffective disorder and learned the true nature of consciousness. There are many “kinds”, there are hundreds of thousands, maybe millions scattered among us, most are mobs who learn special effect gimmicks like “voices”, few are true masters of the mind. many today are unscrupulous terrors.
Consider this is around the time of the CIA Stargate program. Just before the “Summer of Sam” when the “Satanic occultists” would have their heyday (80s/90s).
Modern thought control has changed this culture significantly. Modern American Thought Control is dominated by white supremacists who spent decades cultivating this occult secret of our humanity in the bowels of prisons, many from legacy CIA sponsored programs (which make MKUltra a joke.)
The street culture is still there, stifled beneath the “controls” who extort the fun out of everyone. Everyone except the insidious.
