In Spanish, Pila basically means cell. It's probably closer to pile, as in voltaic pile, but that usage has become archaic, at least in the US.

Have a hard time trusting products like these when they don't have European versions, they either can't make the regulatory requirements (which for something like this is to prevent damage to property and life) or they likely won't be sticking around since why else would they ignore such a large market (the guy takes a stab at Ecoflow, but keep in mind that the US market is just 40% of Ecoflow revenue).
