I noticed something a few months ago. I was talking less to my colleagues. Not because anything was wrong. I had a question, I described it to an AI, I got something useful back. Why loop in a human if the loop is already closed?
bshepard•1h ago
It would be nice if there was a systematic way to stop AI written content from appearing on HN: the writing is excruciating to read, and there is (obviously) no reasoning involved. It is a form of cognitive pollution, and should at least be culturally strongly disincentivized, as writing makes you smarter, makes you think. Oy!
aepfli•1h ago
This is a nice question to ask in general, also where everything is heading. Is it the writing style or the message. To be honest, I am not good at writing at all. Not the writing directly, but writing and structuring my ideas. The blog post idea, and content is something I really think is missing in most of the discussions currently. How do I see myself in the age of AI and how can i develop myself and my team in this age. With still being a team. This blog is also specifically titled as a "Brain dumps, mostly. Thoughts that needed somewhere to go. Unstructured by nature, shaped with AI help." - but I agree, I might need to add this disclaimer everywhere, as I want people to focus on the idea, rather than how the content was produced.
