AI Shouldn't Replace Graduate Hires

As an employer this article isn't convincing to me.

I don't need a graduate that has "new ideas" my two senior engineers are way more productive and deliver a better ROI than hiring graduates and interns.

While my competitors are hiring senior engineers, I and many other startups competing in the market cannot afford to train junior engineers while losing market share to rivals.

If need someone to hire, I need them to get up to speed and adding value right now from when they finished navigating the codebase.

Other than that I leave the seniors alone. I cannot leave juniors alone, we cannot afford to slow down.

That's a good point. If you are a small team with no slack in your workload and can't tolerate a change in pace then it just won't work. It sounds like this would be the case with or without AI, and really I'm trying to say that we shouldn't stop hiring juniors because of AI.
