one thing i notice on X is how many slop bot replies there are. just very not-human like replies, like a mob of slop machines ready to jump on the slopt train and hype the bubble.

on bsky you get actual variation in replies. people actually saying things.

Couldn't that be simply because X has a much larger user base, so malicious parties focus there? Similar to how Linux and even Mac doesn't get as much viruses as windows.

I mean it's also simply because of the motivations of the owner. Musk is all onboard with bots shaping the discourse, that's why he bought Twitter so he could control the media environment for his investments.
