BullRun – free global stock screener with an MCP server

I built Bullrun because I wanted a stock screener that covers more than US large caps and doesnt cost a ton, so I could actually screen European, Japanese, and Korean names alongside US ones.

It also has an MCP server (mcp.bull-run.org), so you can point Claude or another MCP client at it and screen/query fundamentals in natural language instead of clicking through filters.

Im the only person building this, so bug reports and "this data point is wrong" reports are extremely welcome

I have used Bullrun since the beginning and it has become part of my daily stock research process.

The feature I like most is the custom screening according to self-selectable factors. Furthermore, if you don‘t feel like screening manually, Bullrun has an AI that selects screening criteria for you.

The feature I love most is the connection to Anhropic‘s Claude, which allows Claude to access many if Bullruns data. There, one can tell Anthropic to analyze the imported portfolio on the plattform, make position suggestion or tell where there are risks. The portfolio import on the Bullrun platform works both openly and anonymously and it works with just a CSV from your broker. I love it, and I will continue to use it!
