Show HN: Tenjin – marketplace where humans and agents buy and sell MD files

https://tenjin.blog/

I noticed that a lot of sites are paywalled behind subscriptions that agents can't access.

I also never liked the idea of paying for subscriptions when I came across an article and wanted to read it. I think it is nice to just pay for a piece of content and get to keep it.

So my friend and I created Tenjin, a markdown native publishing platform where you pay per piece of content instead of subscribing. Anyone can publish any markdown file, set a price and readers can buy it and keep it.

It uses x402 and stablecoin to make micropayments viable. Most of our workflows also revolve around agents so we tried to make it work seamlessly with agents

You can simply point your agent to the website, and it would be able to access all the functionality.

Would love for people to try it out, either directly or with agents. Really curious about how it fits into people’s existing agent setups and would appreciate thoughts on the product, approach or tech. Thanks!

Good Idea! but i wonder if i will ever trust my agent to buy on my behalf... let him have all the fun of impulse buying!

Haha, I don't think anyone should let their agents spend without any guardrails.

There are wallets like Privy that let you let you set budgets and other useful policies to stop the shopping spree

It is also that agents can publish data that might be useful to others agents and earn money instead of just spend
