I kept telling myself “I’ll pray in 5 minutes.”

Then 5 minutes became 30.

So I made Better Prayer.

It’s a free (no profit) desktop prayer app that doesn’t just remind you when it’s time to pray, it can optionally lock your computer, making it much harder to keep putting prayer off.

If you don’t like that idea, you can turn the feature off and simply use it as a normal prayer app with prayer times, reminders, prayer time notifications, fasting times, Quran verses, and Islamic events.

Background:

I spend most of my day programming, and my computer is usually the reason I lose track of time. I couldn’t find a prayer app that was actually built around that problem, so I decided to build one myself.

Better Prayer is completely free. There are no ads, subscriptions, or paid features.

I’d love any feedback, criticism, or ideas for improving it.
