(Downloadable at typeAnywhere.com) I wanted to make increasing your typing speed frictionless, so I built a typing overlay you can pull up on top of whatever you're doing. Watching something, waiting for a build, boring meeting, whatever.

Since it's a desktop app I went full Duolingo mode: daily streak, reminders, some that pop up on top of anything you're doing, personal stats, add friends to see their stats and 1v1 them whenever you spot them on their laptop.

And also AI... wait it actually makes sense here. Use AI to prompt a type test. Dev? Get a Python type test. Going to med school? Prompt any vocabulary you need to rehearse.

Nearly full UI customization, plus a finger guide, tape mode, a flame animation for when your typing consistently near your top speed, top score gamifying the experience, and a lesson mode if you don't touch type yet.

A Proper desktop app, Apple certified, Over-the-air updating, under ~80MB of RAM, Syncs to other devices logged into the same account and for my devs, its Tauri so its Rust under the hood ! ^-^
